High-Quality Digital Scanning

We offer digital scanning services at our fulfillment center in Franklin, TN. Scanning prices are based on size. The pricing includes high-resolution scanning (300 dpi), file setup, color mastering, and a printed 4"x8" proof. We provide the highest quality scanning of documents, paintings, drawings, watercolors, photos, negatives, and slides, at the best prices available. We use the most sophisticated technology anywhere. You don’t have to compromise!

NOTE: Our in-house scanning service includes a color-adjustment service. We provide you with a color-adjusted master file from your scanned artwork or film. We pride ourselves on our ability to consistently provide a superb match throughout the image and we use color management systems which are state of the art and should consistently capture with unparalleled accuracy. For intense color mastering our rates start at $15 and up depending on complexity. Estimates can be provided prior to commencing work.  

While most scans print best when captured at 300 dpi, we also offer 600 dpi captures for those pieces that require a finer touch. We will normally suggest this when we are reproducing the artwork at a much larger scale. Examples such as printing a tiny vintage photo we've restored or blowing up a medium sized drawing to a 4' print would work best with a higher resolution scan.

Unlike many other scanning options available to the public, our ultra high end flatbed scanner has the ability to scan paintings with variable depth. This process cascades light onto the surface to render any ridges, valleys or textures present in the work such as canvas marks, impasto brush strokes or elegant embroidery. This additional has been utilized by many artists to add a level of breath-taking and unique detail to the final print.

Up to 24"x36":

• Scans at 300 dpi: $60
• Scans at 300 dpi with texture: $70
• Scans at 600 dpi: $80
• Scans at 600 dpi with texture: $180

Up to 48"x70":

• Scans at 300 dpi: $100
• Scans at 300 dpi with texture: $120
• Scans at 600 dpi: $210
• Scans at 600 dpi with texture: $420
